EYELASH EXTENSION AFTERCARE
- The adhesive I use can last up to 4 weeks depending on how careful you are when washing your face, how you sleep, and whether you rub your eyes often or not. These actions will wear off the adhesive and cause lashes to fall.
- When a good amount of lashes fall off, you may make an appointment for touch-ups and refills which are quicker and cost less than the procedure of a full set of lashes. However, please note that any refills after 4 weeks (or less than 40% remaining) will require a new set.
- In order to care for your lashes to keep them longer, please observe the following recommended instructions:
- Avoid getting your lashes wet (within 24 hours)
- No picking or pulling lashes
- No mascara
- No curling lashes
- No oil-based products
- Avoid chemical peels and facials on your eyes
- Brush lashes regularly
- Sleep on your back
- Schedule to retouch and refill your lash extensions every 2-3 weeks to maintain the look of your lashes.
- Remove lashes by a professional eyelash specialist
- It is important that you have a professional remove your eyelash extensions to avoid and reduce the risk of damaging your natural eyelashes.
- In the case that you don't have time or don't want a professional to remove your lash extensions, you may wait for them to fall off naturally. It takes around 5 to 6 weeks for a typical lash set to shed completely on its own.
- If you have any eye irritations or allergic reactions, please contact me to determine the next step. Mild irritation, itchiness and redness in the eyes generally goes away within 24 hours. However, in case of an emergency, please obtain care from medical professionals.
